Quirks & Quarks Discussion Group
This Newcomers’ group “Quirks & Quarks Discussion Group” is similar to a book club with a few basic questions to consider while listening to podcasts at home.
Each member chooses one favourite science-related podcast for the group to review, from sites such as CBC Quirks & Quarks www.cbc.ca/radio/quirks; or BBC Earth. www.bbcearth.com/Podcast. Most podcasts are less than 30 minutes long.
We then connect every 3rd Tuesday, 1:30-3pm @ Memorial Golf Club restaurant for casual and friendly discussion about each podcast over a coffee or beer. Depending on our numbers, we will spend 10 or more minutes discussing each podcast.
Max. 8 members. Join us when you can.
