This group meets to discuss, in French, a range of topics decided by the group. It is recommended that members are able to understand and communicate about a topic even if they do not consider themselves fluent. The goal of the group is to practice oral language skills, expand vocabulary, and learn informal conversational formats. The group has two francophone volunteers who participate in the conversation and assist with pronunciation and vocabulary.
The group meets at alternating members’ homes every two weeks. There will be a maximum of 8 members for each group. Each new group will be responsible for finding a member who will coordinate meetings and locations.
