Welcome to Paradise!  We hope that you are settling into your new home and life in the Oceanside area. Qualicum Beach Newcomer’s Club will definitely make meeting new friends fun and easy! We had 22 new members sign up in February for a total new membership of 427.

We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the Month

At our  monthly meeting  you will have the opportunity to meet other Newcomers, sign up to a club or activity, or purchase tickets for the many special events that occur throughout the year. Not only are our meetings fun and informative, but they are generally only 60 minutes in length!  We recommend you come early (doors open at 9:45am) giving you enough time to  have a coffee, as well as chat with the organizers of the events, clubs and activities. When you arrive, pick up your “free ticket” from one of our friendly greeters which gives you a chance at one of several door prizes, or buy some 50/50 tickets (proceeds to Oceanside Hospice Society) to win big! 

Remember our meeting starts sharp at 10:15 am!

Guest Speakers

At every meeting, we have one or two guest speakers who speak for 8-10 minutes each. If the organization has a website, you can click on the name of the organization to go to their website.

After Meeting Lunch

Immediately following each meeting we have a Newcomer’s Lunch at one of the local restaurants. There is no need to purchase tickets ahead of time.  We simply ask for a show of hands during the meeting, and let the restaurant know how many will be coming.

Ladies' Luncheons

Ladies' Luncheons are held the third Tuesday of each month at various restaurants in the area. Please join us and meet other Newcomers. Sign up, make your menu selection and pay at the monthly Newcomers' meeting. Click here to go to our our Ladies' Luncheons web page.
