Are you a shutter bug? Do you wish to capture better photo images of this amazing place where we live? Well you may want to join the Newcomers Photography Group. We range in all areas of expertise from beginner to advanced, but we hold one thing in common; we want to all take better photos and we want to meet others that also enjoy photography. We will learn from each other and from local experts that come to share with our group. We will have field trips or photo outings where we can travel as a group (big or small) to put into practice what we learn.

Photo Tip: Set a time frame (usually 24-48 hours) and set about to take 100 photo images. Pretty soon you will be drawn to things outside the ordinary as you run out of ideas. You‘re taking so many photos that you begin to experiment and take into account different lighting and close ups. Many photographers are doing Project 365 where they take a photo a day and then pick their favourite for the week.
